Positions within each Event Production Committee (EPC) for ETO 2025
As the Event Production Lead, you would be working under the International Blockchain Olympiad (IBCOL) and/or the International Data Science Olympiad (IDSOL) Organizing Committee(s) to deliver the entirety of the Finals, including official side events. You would be working directly with the Director of Operations and the Director of Partnerships of the Königsberger Bridges Institute (KBI).
As a Program Manager, you are responsible for designing and delivering the finer details of the programs throughout the events: the Tours, the Exhibition, the Symposium, the Awards Ceremony, and the Afterparty. You would be working directly with the Event Production Leads for the International Blockchain Olympiad (IBCOL) and International Data Science Olympiad (IDSOL), as well as the Director of Operations of the Königsberger Bridges Institute (KBI).
As a Special Operative, you would be tasked and empowered to solve problems, likely under time or resource constraints. You would be creatively thinking outside the box. You would be working directly with the Director of Operations, the Director of Partnerships, or the Director of Strategic Planning of the Königsberger Bridges Institute (KBI).
As a Local Guide, you would be leading participants in local tours in the Greater Bay Area, especially in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, when the participant delegation visits.
As a Group Leader, you would be accompanying participant delegations as they travel to different sites in the Greater Bay Area, especially in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
As a translator, you would be accompanying certain delegations of participants as they travel or be posted at activities, such as The Exhibition, The Symposium, or The Awards Ceremony.
As a Special Operative, you would be tasked and empowered to solve problems, likely under time or resource constraints. You would be creatively thinking outside the box. You would be working directly with the Director of Operations, the Director of Partnerships, or the Director of Strategic Planning of the Königsberger Bridges Institute (KBI).
The Chronicler Team is responsible for chronicling, i.e. recording for posterity, all activities and events, especially the Tours, the Exhibition, the Symposium, and the Awards Ceremony.
As a Photographer, you would be taking photos during any of the events and activities.

The Hospitality Team is responsible for ensuring participants and guests have a great time at the events, specifically the Exhibition, the Symposium, and the Awards Ceremony.
As a Registration Desk Officer, you would be assisting in signing in registered participants and registering unregistered participants during any of the events and activities.

As a Help Desk Officer, you would be addressing questions, concerns, and enquiries of participants and guests during any of the events.
The Logistics Team is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the events, specifically the Exhibition, the Symposium, and the Awards Ceremony.
As an AV Liaison Officer, you would be with the audio-visual ("AV") team of the venue during any of the events or activities to ensure that the AV requirements are met and no issues would arise (or solve them if they arise).

As an MC Liaison Officer, you would be liaising with the master-of-ceremonies ("MC") during any of the events or activities to ensure that the MC requirements are met and no issues would arise (or solve them if they arise).

As a Security Officer, you would be ensuring that house rules are followed, especially regarding the safety of all participants and access control of the venues.

As an Exhibition Floor Manager, you would be ensuring that contestants are set up properly and resolving any issues that may arise during their time in the Exhibition, as well as ensuring that exhibition judges have no issues with evaluating projects during the exhibition.

As a Symposium Timekeeper, you would be keeping the time for stage presentations during the symposium and at the awards ceremony, to ensure presentations and events are concluded within the time limit.

As an executive assistant, you would be reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Planning, the Director of Partnerships, and the Director of Operations ("KBI Directors"). As the key decision makers of the International Blockchain Olympiad (IBCOL) and the International Data Science Olympiad (IDSOL), the KBI Directors may need to address issues or make decisions under challenging conditions, some of which may require delegating or deputizing to a trusted aide.
